We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Consultant to lead and execute Salesforce implementations for our nonprofit and association clients. As a key member of our Solution team, you will set technical strategy, guide implementation teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients throughout their digital transformation journey.

Essential Functions:

Technical Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations from discovery through deployment
  • Architect scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities, integrations, and third-party applications
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions to define project scope and success criteria
  • Design and document technical solutions that align with client business objectives
  • Perform hands-on configuration and customization using declarative approaches

Project Delivery

  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
  • Decompose complex requirements into actionable work items aligned with team capabilities
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of team deliverables before client presentations
  • Lead critical issue resolution and risk mitigation activities
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to delivery best practices

Team Development & Collaboration

  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Salesforce consultants and developers
  • Foster knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the delivery team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery

Business Development

  • Support pre-sales activities including solution design and proposal development
  • Participate in sales engineering efforts to demonstrate platform capabilities
  • Serve as subject matter expert during client presentations and workshops

Essential Skills and Work Experience:

Technical Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading Salesforce implementation projects
  • Active Salesforce certifications required (minimum 2 of the following):
    • Nonprofit Cloud Consultant (NPC)
    • Nonprofit Success Pack Consultant
    • Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Service Cloud Consultant
  • Platform Administrator - Required
  • Deep expertise with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Nonprofit Cloud (NPC)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices
  • Experience with integration patterns, data migration, and third-party applications

Industry Experience

  • Proven track record working with nonprofit organizations or associations
  • Understanding of nonprofit business processes including fundraising, program management, and constituent engagement
  • Experience translating nonprofit requirements into technical solutions

  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in distributed teams and foster collaborative relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Architecture, Integration, Data)
  • Background in change management and user adoption strategies
Work Location:

Fíonta is a remote first work environment, the individual in this position will spend the majority of the workday in front of their computer working from their home office. The individual is required to report to work (whether in office or remote) each day, unless otherwise arranged with their manager.

The annual base salary for this role is targeted between $114,000.00 - $135,000.00.*
